General Description:
Financial Analyst will be working in Financial Reporting and Analysis Division, and will be responsible for the following:
(i) Statutory Financial Reporting including Advising and Liaising with decentralized accounting business units.
(ii) Management Reporting and Analysis, including developing benchmarks and monitoring performance.
(iii) Evaluating Relevant Accounting pronouncements for application to the Bank’s financial statements in consultation with the accounting policy advisor.
(iv) Providing Assurance on the accuracy and integrity of the Bank’s financial ledgers and financial information.

Duties and Accountabilities:
Generally enclose core areas: Capital Business Processing, Financial Analysis & Reporting and operational risk.
Preparing internal and external financial reports for IBRD and IDA as part of the HQ business unit teams;
Duties also include participation on Finance Complex projects and preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis for senior management.

Selection Criteria:
1. Candidate should be a CA (Chartered Accountant), excellent analytical skills with 3 or more years of relevant experience.
2. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and competent in MS Office mainly Excel, Word and Power Point.
3. Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage ability to develop and apply methodologies to test and explain changes in financial trends will be preferred.
