IBPS PO recruitment results for the year for 2014-15 is declared and the allotment in banks is finally completed. The news was awaited for the last few days as IBPS had fixed the date of provisional allotment in April 2014. A new category called ‘Reserve List’ has been added to this results.
IBPS PO III common written exam started with online registrations last year during July / August 2013. The online test was held in the month of October / November last year, the interview process for the qualified candidates was conducted in January 2014. Candidates can check their result status on the IBPS Result Page.
Now with the completion of provisional allotment, let us check the data on select candidate cut off & waiting list.
21680 PO Vacancies filled in 21 Public Sector undertakings for the year 2014 – 15. Canara Bank tops the list with 3500 posts, followed by Bank of Baroda with 2360 posts, and Indian Overseas on 3rd place with 2280 posts.
IBPS has uploaded an annexure providing details of maximum & minimum combined scores of candidates, enabling you to understand the scoring range.
If you are allotted a bank / organization, you will soon receive appointment letters from the respective bank.
Candidates in Reserve List
If you are in the reserve list, there is hope that you will you may be in the 2nd list of allotments incase banks announce further vacancies till March 2015. Also if there are candidates who reject the offer or cannot provide the required documents, there may be more vacancies and the reserve list candidate will get an allotment. But remember there is no guarantee that banks will come up further hiring but is quite possible.
