SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India), a Principal Financial Institution set up under an Act of Parliament for promotion, financing and development of MSME sector in India. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the last six decades have contributed to creativity, innovation and dynamism in the industrial sector which has led to the spread of industrial development across India.
SIDBI invites applications from eligible candidates for the following posts:

Contract Terms
1) Period: Initially the contract will be for a period of 3 years and renewable for a further period of 2 years.
2) Compensation:
i) Economist – The remuneration will be initially fixed at 10 lakh with a provision to increase it by 0.50 lakh annually, based on the performance. The maximum remuneration will be 12 lakh per annum on Cost-to-Company (CTC) basis for, subject to deduction of applicable TDS, taxes, levies, government charges, if any etc.
ii) Tax Consultant – The remuneration will be initially fixed at 16 lakh with a provision to increase it by 0.50 lakh annually, based on the performance. The maximum remuneration will be 18 lakh per annum on Cost-to-Company (CTC) basis for, subject to deduction of applicable TDS, taxes, levies, government charges, if any etc.
3) Posting: Initial posting will be at Mumbai. However, the Official will be liable to be transferred to any place in India.
4) Job Profile
Economist: To be a part of the Economic Planning and Research Cell of SIDBI, which would be analyzing and evaluating national and international economic and financial indicators of relevance to the Bank with specific implications for the MSME sector. Will undertake research studies and assess their impact for providing strategic inputs to the top management for framing national level policies for MSMEs and to meet the emerging challenges through planning based on more accurate forecasts and / or any other assignments as may be decided by the Bank from time to time.
Tax Consultant: To be a part of the Corporate Accounts Vertical of SIDBI, which would be handling activities related to taxation such as filing returns, policy matters, tax audit, etc so as to optimize tax payouts and / or any other assignments as may be decided by the Bank from time to time.
