Position Title: Investment Officer
Job Purpose:
Investment Officer is responsible for providing support to the Private Sector Operations Department in the processing, structuring and implementation of ADB’s private sector funding and support primarily for India’s capital markets and financial sector and, secondarily, for the remaining South Asian countries in which ADB is active.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop strong association with banking and nonbanking financial institutions in India and South Asia.
• Consider opportunities for Asian Development Bank by researching industry developments in financial subsectors.
• Recognize market trends and regulatory regimes to identify realizable opportunities for ADB.
• Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and financials.

Candidate Profile:
– Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related fields.
– Should have minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the field of banking and nonbanking sectors with leading international financial institution, and/or investment bank.
– Ability to undertake research and analytical work, collect and organize required information.
– Ability to analyze banking and nonbanking financial statements and projections.
– Excellent skills in written and oral communication in English.
