Though an interview is a one time exercise but a candidate should be through with the knowledge and confident while facing the interview. Its not easy to read the mind of the person interviewing you. Questions to Prepare
1. Personal Details – This will be the first section wherein you will be asked about your family, education etc It normally starts as “So tell us about yourself”. Start with a short introduction about your family background and highlight your skills and achievements academically.
2. Run us through your bio data/resume – The bio data carries a big importance as the official document about you. The questions would be around the information provided by you in the document.
3. Banking Knowledge – Be familiar with some common words/phrases used in financial sectors and banking world. Do not by heart those, it is not hard don’t rely on websites some books too can be purchased which provide detailed explanations.

4. Latest Updated News: Keep your self up to date will all the events and news in the banking world e.g: who is the chief of Asian Development Bank, read newspaper on daily basis and keep yourself up to date with the economy. 5. Why did you choose banking sector: Never say because you did not get through in any other industry, always put emphasis on the opportunities and growth you see in the banking world and you are passionate to work and grow in this world. make your answers realistic and convincing to show your willingness to join the bank.

6. Know your state: Banks demands and expects the applicant to be well versed with the state they are applying if possible the local language no. of districts in the state, names of ministers, governors and overall information of the state.
7. Information about the organisation: Questions on history, performance of the organisation, its MD/Chairman, vision, mission which would be available in the website on the company in the about us section always study that care fully.
8. Know Your Self: Questions like your strengths weakness, achievements how can u be an asset to our organisation.
These are some basic and common question that will be asked in a banking interview.
