Job Description
• Corporate Banking Managers to be based in Mumbai & Hyderabad location, with the primary responsibility to achieve revenue targets, offer new product to customers from the existing customer base, and develop these relationships. The products on offer to customers include working capital finance, term lending, treasury solutions, and investment banking proposition.
• The incumbent is expected to contribute to the development and execution of strategy and differentiate HSBC from competitors in the following space:
a)Business Development
– Independently manage a complex and mature portfolio of clients and to position the bank as the preferred service provider.
– One of the key challenge for Corporate Banking Manager will be to significantly grow the HSBC lending portfolio in the Corporate Banking space.
– He / She will be primary relationship manager for the assigned portfolio of existing customer base and to achieve account profitability targets through focused marketing efforts.
– Drive business development in other area of operation and create new business opportunities for the bank.
– Ensure positive customer relationships is fostered and increase visibility in the marketplace.
b)Credit Assessment
– Candidate should possess strong credit skills to ensure quality of the credit is maintained across existing portfolio and new acquisitions.
– Ensure credit quality of the existing and newly acquired relationships is in line with the Bank’s acceptable credit parameters.
– Should be well versed with banks policies, guidelines, on credit related issues and manage stressed accounts in line with bank’s policies.

Candidate Profile
– Candidate should possess good communication skills, strong credit skills and 3 – 4 years of corporate banking experience.
– He / She should have the ability to analyze financial information, industry changes, and adapt to changing financial environment.
– Candidate should have strong Commercial Orientation along with Analytical Ability & Commercial Acumen.
– Work closely with Product teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to meet customer needs.
